We are seeking an experienced Senior 2nd Line / Environments Support Engineer to join our team in Lisbon.
This role is crucial in facilitating production activities by handling incidents, BAU service requests, and infra maintenance tasks. The successful candidate will be integral in ensuring all activities adhere to bank standards and will work in a 24/7 shift-based team, including on-call support outside regular business hours.

Responsibilities
- Develop and update application support knowledge articles
- Align production deliverables with bank standards and best practices
- Manage batch processing and support production incidents
- Analyze system logs to identify potential issues with both infrastructure and applications
- Monitor services, manage alerts, produce reports, and improve service quality and availability
- Deliver 24/7 production and on-call support including shifts during weekends and public holidays

- 3+ years of experience in a similar role
- Background in providing technical support for system and application issues in Windows and Linux environments
- Proficiency in UNIX shell scripting, PowerShell, and Python to automate server/service/process restarts
- Basic familiarity with Autosys, including creating and modifying jobs
- Strong knowledge of ITIL processes
- Qualifications in PL/SQL
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to share knowledge and conduct training sessions
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, at least at a B2 level
- Experience in continuous improvement projects focused on service quality and availability
