We are seeking a visionary and technically adept AVP of UCC to lead our Webex UCC environment. In this critical role, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive UCC strategy, overseeing the successful completion of migration to the cloud, and ensuring the ongoing optimization and utilization of our Webex environment.
This position offers a unique blend of strategic planning, technical leadership, and project management. The ideal candidate will be a CCIE-level individual with a deep understanding of Webex capabilities and a passion for driving innovation in the UCC space.

Responsibilities
- Establish and implement a multi-year strategic plan for UCC laying out plan for all major technologies
- Perform as a solution architect for Unified Communication and Collaborations utilizing extensive technical knowledge to design and implement a fully integrated environment including real-time communications, content collaboration and AV technologies heavily utilizing Cisco/Webex technologies
- Complete transition of webex from on-premises solution to cloud based services
- Manage and optimize the Webex environment to ensure its performance, stability, and security
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for Webex user administration, feature configuration, and access control
- Provide ongoing support and training to users on Webex functionalities and best practices
- Conduct regular reviews and identify opportunities for further optimization and feature utilization
- Provide technical leadership and expertise to the UCC team, ensuring a deep understanding of Webex architecture and functionalities
- Stay current on Webex technical advancements, certifications, and best practices
- Collaborate with IT and Security teams to integrate Webex with existing IT infrastructure and security protocols
- Identify and implement new Webex features and functionalities to enhance user collaboration and productivity

- 5+ years in technical operations, architecture, or equivalent progressive roles
- 5+ years in supervisory or management capacity
- Min 10 Years of comprehensive and deep experience in IT, preferably with large implementations of unified communications and collaboration and in managing large, complex enterprise environments
- Strong leadership and management abilities. Ability to lead cross-functional project teams in implementing projects of a complex nature and experience leading technical teams comprised of architects, engineers and operations
- A deep understanding of the interdependent relationship between UCC technologies, including network and voice infrastructure, information security and the applications/services they enable as well as the criticality of maintaining strong connections between the respective teams within IT
- Experienced in Solution Architecture, program management, engineering, vendor management, project management and network support
- Ability to engage in detailed technical discussions, strong analytic reasoning and problem-solving skills
- Strong time management, research, and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confident speaker with ability to present, interact, and connect with executives, engineers and technical contacts. Ability to understand and articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner
- Bachelor's Degree with a major in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field - required
- Professional certifications from leading equipment vendors: Cisco CCIE Collaboration preferred
- Hands-on experience implementing Webex UCC technologies in an enterprise environment. MS Teams experience a plus
