Responsibilities
- Coaching the team: Utilize your expertise and leadership skills to coach and guide a team of engineers, fostering their professional growth and ensuring high-quality deliverables
- Automation and platform improvement: Drive automation initiatives and implement improvements to enhance the efficiency, scalability, and reliability of our platforms
- Task prioritization: Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize tasks and effectively manage resources to achieve project objectives
- Application support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for applications, ensuring smooth operations and meeting service level agreements
- Incident management: Take ownership of incident management processes, coordinating timely resolutions to minimize impact on business operations
- Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports, providing insights and recommendations to stakeholders

- Scripting experience: Proficiency in Python and PowerShell scripting, enabling you to develop automation scripts and streamline processes
- Good knowledge of GCP and Azure: Familiarity with both GCP and Azure platforms, allowing you to leverage their respective features and capabilities
- Azure DevOps pipelines: Experience working with Azure DevOps pipelines, enabling seamless integration, testing, and deployment of applications
- Kubernetes and Containers: Strong understanding of Kubernetes and containerization technologies, facilitating efficient deployment and management of applications
- Good debugging and troubleshooting skills: Ability to identify and resolve issues through effective debugging and troubleshooting techniques
- Monitoring tools: Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Azure logs, enabling proactive monitoring and alerting
- Experience with Istio, ArgoCD, and Bastion, providing additional value to our projects
- Previous experience working with Windows environments would be advantageous
