Summer Activities Intern

Activities Intern
EF International Language Centers

Brighton, MA

Synopsis:

  • Do you like having fun?
  • Do you like making sure other people are having fun?
  • Do you like meeting new people?

If so, then you might be the ideal Activities Intern for the EF International Language Center in Boston.

The Role
The Activities Intern will work approximately 25-30 hours per week, during the day, evening, and weekends over the summer. The position creates and produces a wide variety of events and activities for students: everything from intramural sports to museum outings to beach trips.

As an Activities Intern at EF, you have the opportunity to work with a highly diverse student population and a high-energy staff. The position both provides and requires great flexibility and entails wearing many hats including those of event coordinator, role model, counselor, and policy enforcer to name a few. In addition, you may be asked to assist in other roles throughout the school such as receptionist or host family recruiter. You will not be asked to get coffee. Community development is important in the position, and the Activities Intern should have a strong desire to provide support to the student body and to help make our international students feel at home here on campus and in Boston.
