In Austria, there are three organizations spread across two locations: The Vienna site houses the headquarters of the Eaton Power Distribution Division, which is considered a center of excellence for power distribution and control systems and focuses on research and innovation. On the other hand, Eaton's Austrian sales organization is also located in Vienna. One of our many Eaton production sites is located in Schrems, Lower Austria.
For our plant in Schrems, we are looking for a Quality Engineer (m/f/d)
What you'll do:
- Carrying out process-related checks in accordance with instructions and working on various projects. Promotion and representation of customer interests within the organization
- Carrying out process-related tests in accordance with test instructions with the associated test equipment
- Coordination with suppliers/supplier complaints
- Support in problem solving/problem solving methods (A3, error messages)
- Demonstration of improvement activity CI
- Authorization to intervene in all areas of production if errors occur (including stopping production)
- Decision on usability and conformity of parts
- Achievement of departmental goals
- Ongoing improvement of efficiency and effectiveness (process indicators/departmental targets)
- Further development of the ISO 9001 management system
- Support of the management system for ISO 14001/ ISO 45001 / ISO 50001 / ISO 22301
- Promotion of quality, environmental, safety and energy awareness within the company
- Monitoring compliance with existing/new/changed customer requirements
- Identification of possibly affected shipments during transport to and from customers or suppliers
- Supporting the implementation of Six Sigma projects
- Identify potentially affected shipments during transport to and from customers or suppliers suppliers
- Carrying out incoming goods inspections
- Carrying out process audits and process monitoring (crimping, torques)
- Collaboration in FMEAs
- Promoting awareness of customer requirements throughout the organization
- Internal representation of customer interests with regard to quality requirements
- Collecting and implementing (new / changed) customer requirements in co-operation with the specialist departments
- Integration of new / changed customer requirements in co-operation with the specialist departments
- Collaboration and realization of pro-launch projects
- Planning and carrying out training courses in connection with new / changed customer requirements in collaboration with the specialist department

Qualifications:
- Technical education (Apprenticeship, secondary technical school)
- At least 3 years experience

We offer a performance-oriented and attractive remuneration according to the collective agreement of the electrical and electronics industry. The minimum collective agreement salary for classification in Group D / GS is €2,837.05 gross per month. Depending on qualifications and experience, an overpayment is considered
