About the team

As a newly established function, the Workforce Strategy team is a resource on headcount and resource planning, hub and location strategy, organizational design, and building a global staffing strategy.

About the Role

As the Senior Manager, Workforce Strategy, you will lead efforts to plan and analyze headcount, develop location strategies, support organizational develop a global staffing strategy for growing teams. You will build relationships across DoorDash and serve as the connective tissue for these teams to support workforce strategy and planning. You will work with many different teams and will frequently work with senior leaders. You will report to the Director of Workforce Strategy. This is a remote role and you will need to travel (~25%) to our domestic hubs in San Francisco, CA, Tempe, Arizona, and NYC.

  • You have 6+ years of experience in consulting, strategy & operations, project management, or finance, including higher education or equivalent work experience.
  • You have 6+ years of experience in consulting, strategy & operations, project management, or finance, with experience at a high-growth consumer or enterprise technology company.
  • You can engage with senior functional leaders across the business and influence through data.
  • You have experience in workforce planning, headcount analysis, and global offshoring strategies for technology-focused companies.
  • You are proficient at partnership and collaboration and influencing without ownership.
  • You are proficient in workforce analytics tools and data dashboards.

Compensation

The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee's work location.Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.

In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

The base pay for this position ranges from our lowest geographical market up to our highest geographical market within California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Maryland, New Jersey, New York and Washington.

$146,200-$215,000 USD
