Walt Disney Imagineering is the master planning, creative development, design, engineering, production, project management, and research arm of The Walt Disney Company’s Parks and Resorts business segment. Representing more than 130 subject areas, the talented Imagineers are responsible for the creation of Disney resorts, theme parks and attractions, hotels, water parks, real estate developments, regional entertainment venues, cruise ships and new media technology projects.
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Test and Strategy Senior Manager to join our Walt Disney Imagineering team. In this pivotal role, you will lead the development and execution of comprehensive testing strategies to ensure the quality and integrity of our innovative projects and attractions.

What You Will Do
Develop and implement strategic testing initiatives for new attractions, experiences, and technologies, ensuring alignment with creative and operational goals.
Lead a multidisciplinary team of test managers, engineers, and analysts, encouraging a culture of teamwork and excellence.
Define and coordinate testing processes and methodologies, ensuring adherence to industry standards and Disney quality benchmarks.
Collaborate closely with Imagineers, designers, and project partners to understand requirements, define test plans, and validate results.
Drive continuous improvement in testing practices, demonstrating innovation and new technologies to improve guest experiences.
Provide strategic guidance and support for test automation efforts, optimizing efficiency and scalability across projects.
Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocations related to testing activities, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
Analyze test results and performance metrics, providing actionable insights and recommendations to project leadership and senior management.
Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in themed entertainment and attraction testing
Required Qualifications & Skills
4+ years of progressive experience managing a technical team.
Demonstrated leadership and people management skills with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams.
Deep knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and standard processes, particularly in sophisticated systems and guest-facing environments.
Experience with DEVOPS, Software design processes, and creative development cycles.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate optimally across all levels of the organization.
Passion for storytelling and crafting magical experiences that exceed guest expectations
Preferred Qualifications
Certification in Quality Assurance, Project Management, or related disciplines (e.g., ISTQB, PMP).
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and their application in creative and technical environments.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

The hiring range for this position in Glendale is $152,200 to $204,100 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
