Job Duties and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform RF design activities for the first standalone 5G broadband network, including propagation modeling and prediction for Macro Cell deployment.
  • Determine equipment and power configurations while collaborating with eNB/RAN and UE teams on RF solutions and link budget modifications.
  • Conduct site evaluations, site walks, and candidate selection, updating performance parameters for ongoing improvements.
  • Coordinate cell site testing, optimization drives, and troubleshooting to ensure market test approvals.
  • Create RFDS/CIQ and ACDM for E911 compliance and audit GPL parameters using Samsung's USM tool.
  • Execute nighttime maintenance for CU/DU parameter updates.
Skills, Experience and Requirements

Experience,Skills and Requirements:
  • BSEE/BSCS degree with 3+ years of LTE RF Design experience and 5+ years in wireless Design/Optimization or Operations roles; equivalent education/experience considered.
  • Expertise in 4G/5G cellular technology, RF design (macro/small cell), KPIs, and link budget maintenance for 3GPP technologies.
  • Proficient in LTE design/optimization tools, industry planning tools (e.g., Planet, Atoll), and drive test data processing with Windcatcher, Actix, or Accuver.
  • Skilled in equipment co-location requirements, inter-modulation, and external interference analysis.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities at the market level and effective oral/written communication across all levels.
  • Experienced in leading meetings, presenting clear and logical project updates, and offering policy/process recommendations.


Salary Ranges

Compensation: $83,160.00/Year - $118,800.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
