About you

The Diageo Lebanon Distillery is one of the newest additions to Diageo's North American distillery portfolio. The Bulleit brand is undergoing significant growth, and this is a key role for the site in ensuring we continue to craft high quality whiskey to meet consumer demands! The Site Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative, Human Resources, compliance and engagement support to distillery and warehousing operations personnel. This role supports the overall site facility management activities and reports directly to the Diageo Lebanon Site Director.

Key Accountabilities

In this role you will participate in driving a culture of safety ownership, with a continuous focus on improving safe work practices. Identify, prioritize, and provide resources to assist the site in meeting site goals and objectives. You will also have a supporting role in the following:
  • Engage a diverse, highly engaged, salaried site staff responsible for all aspects of distillation, dry house and warehousing operations within a collaborative, safe and continuous improvement atmosphere.
  • HR related activities within the scope of requirements in partnership with other site Administrative/HR Coordinators.
  • Onboarding process of new employees. Activities could include, but not limited to; site-based interview related activities, onboarding programs, orientation, training, compliance.
  • Coordination, communication, and tracking of training compliance (training record) activities across site.
  • Coordination of plant engagement initiatives at the site including Brand Passion events, committees and town halls.
  • Leverage information from a variety of sources in preparation of various reports, summaries, or responses to inquiries, as may be applicable.
  • Anticipate and prepare materials needed for conferences, correspondence, appointments and meetings.
  • Leverage interpersonal skills in engaging site visitors and be a point of contact for general inquiries from the public.
  • Maintain the site calendar (visitors, events, celebrations, vacations, out-of-office, holidays).
  • Support site management teams in coordinating, communicating and tracking important metric tracking, focused improvement and compliance to Diageo standards across the site.
  • Support Diageo's industry leading environmental initiatives in reduction of water, power and steam usage.
  • Assist maintenance of overall quality standards and sensory taste panel for distillate.
  • Develop and implement budget for site engagement activities, administrative supplies and employee training while performing purchase order creation and payment management.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field
  • Prior experience in a Human Resources, Site Administrative and facility management role in an operations environment is preferred.
  • Experience in developing schedules and managing budgets.
  • SAP, Coupa and other financial systems experience will be an added advantage
  • Demonstrate phenomenal social skills and ability to collaborate and interact across a diverse group of employees and business partners.
  • Must have an intense sense of ownership and a strong desire to understand the entire bourbon process.
  • Proficient digital literacy with ability to use the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills, the ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent social skills, great teammate, must be able to establish rapport with all team members.
  • Self-motivated, driven to see a task through to completion.
  • Must be detail oriented with high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, agile and flexible environment with changing priorities
