Position Overview
The SAP Supply Lead will play a pivotal role in Diageo's SAP Center of Excellence (CoE). This position requires a seasoned professional with 12-15 years of experience, possessing strong functional skills, exceptional stakeholder management abilities, and comprehensive end-to-end supply chain knowledge. The SAP Supply Lead will be responsible for driving the implementation and optimization of supply chain processes within the SAP environment to support Diageo's strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Functional Expertise
- Process Optimization: Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of supply chain processes within the SAP framework.
- SAP Integration: Ensure seamless integration of supply chain modules with other SAP components such as MM (Materials Management), PP (Production Planning), SD (Sales and Distribution), and WM (Warehouse Management).
- Best Practices: Apply industry best practices and standards to enhance supply chain efficiency.
Stakeholder Management
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including IT, procurement, logistics, production, and sales to align supply chain initiatives with business goals.
- Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for all supply-related queries within the SAP CoE. Facilitate clear communication between stakeholders at all levels.
- Training & Support: Provide training and support to end-users to ensure effective utilization of SAP supply chain solutions.
End-to-End Supply Chain Knowledge
- Supply Chain Strategy: Develop and implement strategies that optimize end-to-end supply chain performance from procurement to delivery.
- Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics tools to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive decision-making processes.
- Problem Solving: Identify bottlenecks in the supply chain process and develop innovative solutions to address them.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
Experience
- 12-15 years of experience in SAP supply chain roles or similar positions.
- Proven track record in leading large-scale SAP implementations or transformations within complex organizations.
Skills
- Strong functional expertise in SAP SCM modules including MM, PP, SD, WM.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
- Comprehensive understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes.
