About the Role

The role reports into the Commercial Transformation Manager with the following job dimensions:
  • Ensure consistency of commercial data in systems.
  • Consolidate information from different sources to aid the tracking and analysis of commercial investments and results.
  • Ensure smooth functioning of the commercial processes related to data and investments.
  • Ensure visibility of all system and process issues encountered in the day-to-day operations of the sales team, working with the Commercial Efficiency Manager to address those and guarantee continuous improvements.
  • Act as a guide on sales processes and information for Commercial Transformation Projects.


Role Responsibilities:

The EDGE Commercialisation Manager has ongoing responsibilities, including but not limited to:

-Ensure accurate functioning of sales systems and processes

(EDGE, CPD, Trax, UVE, Anaplan):
  • Regular review and update of customer hierarchies (direct and indirect).
  • Regular update of product hierarchies in UVE sales systems.
  • Review outlet matching in UVE together with the supplier to ensure reliable information within the tool.
  • Regular update of routes and coordination with the GBO team for adjustments.
  • Ensure the right access to needed tools for new joiners.
  • Fill in templates and guide the commercial team through processes that generate system changes.
  • Fill out templates required for setting targets in the tools.
  • Regular update of the outlet database in Trax.
  • Conduct UAT (User Acceptance Testing) for new and updated commercial tools to ensure seamless implementation.


-Consolidate system and process issues for continuous improvement
  • Lead the Sales Desk tickets, consolidating all commercial issues into one single tracker.
  • Raise tickets to respective teams within Service Now or respective solution providers.
  • Ensure Product Owners (EDGE, Data, Diageo One, Trax) and the Commercial Effectiveness Manager are aware of issues and have action plans to address them.


-Consolidate information from different sources for effective decision-making
  • Consolidate all information on volumes and investments from different systems to guarantee full visibility on the ROI of commercial investments (where the information is not easily acquired from a single source).
  • Consolidate sales and execution information into standard templates where not covered by existing or new tools.
  • Consolidate and review manual Stock in Trade information collected by the commercial team to ensure data consistency and input for the monthly SIT review.


-Act as an expert on commercial processes and information for new projects
  • Fill out templates required for new projects.
  • Provide input for process reviews and improvements based on day-to-day opportunities identified in the role.

About you

Requirements:
  • University graduate or equivalent experience.
  • Commercial experience in Merchandising, Field Sales, Distribution Management, or support positions within a commercial organization.
  • Some experience with performance tracking and handling large data sets.


Skills:
  • Meticulous, creative, and flexible, able to find the best solutions for improving processes.
  • Strong analytical skills to help partners identify opportunities.
  • Highly organized, capable of prioritizing a high workload.
  • Strong ability to build and sustain excellent relationships with multiple stakeholders.
  • Advanced Excel knowledge.
  • Must speak the local language of the country and English.
