Work you'll do/Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain SAP applications using Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP) language, ensuring optimal system performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for ABAP development.
- Design, customize, and optimize SAP reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms (RICEF) to meet business needs.
- Debug and troubleshoot ABAP programs, identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Stay updated on SAP technologies and best practices, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and providing technical support to end-users.
- Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration from engagement management

The Enterprise Operations as a Service Offering addresses our clients' needs for on-going operations of their technology and business process investments through multi-year contracts. We deliver continuous modernization, upgrades, and address incremental business changes as part of our engagements through our 5 key offerings: SAP Operations, Oracle Operations, IT Operations, Supply Chain Operations, Finance Operations.
Qualifications
Required
- 3+ years of experience as an SAP ABAP Developer with a strong understanding of SAP modules and architecture.
- Proficient in ABAP programming language, SAP development tools, and debugging techniques.
- Solid knowledge of SAP integration technologies, including IDOCs, RFC, and BAPIs.
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
- Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
- This is a remote position
Preferred
- SAP ABAP certification.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
- Knowledge of SAP Fiori and UI5 development.
- Exposure to SAP Cloud Platform and SAP BW.
- Familiarity with SAP security principles and authorization concepts.
- Analytical/ decision making responsibilities

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $86000 to $125000.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
