Technical Lead, Quality Assurance (IT)
General Purpose of the Job
Senior level abilities to deliver Quality Assurance activities for the DaVita Village related to a specific functionality. Able to develop and mature activities in their area of specialty. Provides QA leadership for IT projects within areas of specialty. Matrixed QA team may report to individual to accomplish project goals. Responsible for oversight of outsourced vendor QA activities. Does not have formal people care responsibilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Possesses Sr. level of specialty in one or more areas of DaVita QA - examples are technology (automation, mobile, performance), functional area, or QA leadership (QA lead for multiple projects or a support area).
- Demonstrated ability to deliver specialty areas. Has achieved recognized success in area of specialty.
- Demonstrates ability to deliver across DaVita Village.
- Demonstrates ability to lead other QA staff in the area of Specialty.
- Responsible for leading multiple QA resources in completion of work - including teammates/guest teammates - both on and offshore.
- Demonstrates ability to resolve problems and issues.
- Demonstrates ability to work well with others. Possesses strong people and communication skills.
- Work independently and drive appropriate resolution for issues.
- Possesses basic project management skills necessary to deliver QA activities.
- Demonstrates high proficiency in all expectations associated with a Sr. QA Analyst.
- Mine for data, backend validation, and perform data quality analysis via SQL.

- Bachelor's degree in business or computer science or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of software quality assurance and software testing experience, 5 years of which are at a lead
- level.
- Proven data analysis, data verification and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with DaVita QA Tools.
- Possesses solid project management skills and/or substantial exposure to project-based work structures.
- Proven ability to provide technical leadership for QA teams.
- Proven ability to work with on and offshore vendor teams.
- Ability to communicate with all levels of stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities Strong analytical skills. Assimilates information quickly, communicates complex requirements and issues clearly and concisely.
- Track record of taking the initiative and producing results with limited supervision
- Must be able to work in a team environment, as well as independently.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced dynamic team-based environment.
