Provides direction and guidance to junior Business Analysts in support of Aetna Senior Supplemental Insurance operations; works other analysts and business leaders to define best practices and a business area focused "outcome-based" roadmap.

Works with technology teams in a Scaled Agile Framework to create a shared understanding of business needs with the goal of improving operational efficiency and customer experience.
Primary contributor to the backlog for an internally built application dedicated to supporting operational processes.
Conducts user research/requirements gathering and writes features and user stories for product backlogs as needed.
Refines backlog items with the scrum team and helps define priorities of business needs in accordance with roadmaps.
Works with business leadership and other Business Analysts to define operational goals and value measurements, follows up on all technology changes delivered to ascertain whether goals have been met.
Proactively evaluates product or process pain points and risks, builds contingency plans and workarounds as needed, executes corrective action, and monitors issue resolution.
Conducts root cause analysis on system issues to determine scope and impact as needed and escalates to appropriate team.
Writes complex queries and builds files as needed to support operational processes
Helps promote a culture of continuous learning through sharing best practices, new skills, case studies and participating in a Community of Practice.
Presents to internal/external customers, constituents, and business partners.
This position will report to a Sr Manager and will not have official HR responsibilities/direct reports but will instead be the lead Business Analyst in a small pod supporting the contracting and commissions business area.Required Qualifications
1-3 years of Agile
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
3-5 years data interpretation and analysis experience
3-5 years SQL experiencePreferred Qualifications

The typical pay range for this role is:$54,300.00 - $119,340.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
