Position Summary

This IT Operations Sr Analyst role within Command Center Operations (CCO) is to provide a single point of contact for resolving technical problems within the CVS Health environment.

ACCOUNTABILITY: CCO Sr Analysts are responsible for ensuring continuity of service and providing high quality support within committed service levels. This includes guaranteeing that events, incidents, problems, and requests are logged, escalated appropriately, and resolved in the most effective manner.

The Senior Analyst IT Operations Specialist will provide first level engagement in response to alerts throughout the CVS Health environment. They must be able to react quickly and make critical decisions on a regular basis that impact store, corporate, and employee satisfaction.

The Senior Analyst IT Operations Specialist provides prompt, professional customer service following specific guidelines on customer service while ensuring that problems are accurately and promptly addressed, documented, and rectified, using proper follow-up as needed.

-Assists in the evaluation and discovery of application remediation opportunities and other discretionary services.

-Implements policies/procedures improvements which will have a positive impact on either the team or the organization.

-Interfaces with Application Support, Configuration Management, Production Control, and Network Operations.

- Coordinates team awareness of upcoming critical change activity and ensures sufficient coverage and support is available.

Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years of information technology experience.
  • 2 + years of experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM tool.
  • 2+ years of experience with monitoring and network tools such as AppDynamics, SiteScope, Splunk or similar Application Performance Management monitoring tools
Preferred Qualifications
  • Understanding of the CVS Health IT environment, its departments, and their interdependencies.
  • Knowledge of operational and functional accountability of infrastructure, application, and production support.
  • Understanding of gathering business impact for major incident outages.
  • 2-4 years of experience operating within Mainframe environments.
Education
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$22.59 - $53.95

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
