The Executive Director, Product Management is responsible for owning and defining the solution vision and strategy, the roadmap, feature delivery and overall success of Pharmacy Services Product Delivery to enable a best-in-class client, colleague, and customer experience. This role collaborates closely with leaders from Pharmacy Services Business, User Experience Design, Engineering, and Data/Analytics.

A successful candidate in this role will work in a cross functional team in a large matrix organization. This candidate will need to quickly build relationships with key stakeholders to identify. This candidate will need to build relationships within the organization to understand needs and deliver results.

You will make an impact by:
  • Define, own, and continually assesses the solution vision, strategy, and roadmap.
  • Connect the roadmap to specific value drivers that contribute to business priorities, objectives and key results, and strategic programs.
  • Oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch and ongoing enhancements.
  • Lead their department in the identification of opportunities for product optimization, feature enhancements, and addressing user pain points.
  • Define and revises KPIs for their solution-level scorecard to highlight critical metrics, socialize progress, and consistently reinforces objectives.
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders to understand their needs, gather feedback, and ensure alignment of product strategy with organizational objectives.
  • Set the direction for discovery work, ensuring teams are focused on continuous exploration, understanding market and customer needs, and partnering with customer and user experience teams.
  • Interface and partners with Product Strategy leadership to communicate progress, insights, and risks across the business, specifically with key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with other executive leaders within Product Strategy, Digital Strategy, and Design to sets direction for market and competitive research inclusive of identifying customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscapes.
  • Provide solution level leadership and sets the direction for team growth and performance in collaboration with senior leaders across Engineering, Design, Technology, and others.
  • Champion strong product management and agile mindsets and values by actively communicating team wins and opportunities.
  • Responsible for promoting and setting a customer-centric culture where all teams understand the current performance of the product, opportunities areas and the north star vision, and are monitoring and proactively reacting to key product health metrics and communicating updates.
Required Qualifications
  • 8-10 years of overall work experience with a concentration in a product management role
  • Product management experience required.
  • Strong track record of effective communication; Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly the ability to convey information in an accessible, concise, and clear manner.
  • Customer centric, creative, and strategic
  • Ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder client environment.
  • Expertise with influencing and navigating a highly matrixed environment to drive new strategies.
  • Experience leading and developing high performing teams.
  • Ability to proactively identify and address potential issues, evaluate alternative courses of action, and make sound management decisions.
  • Ability to synthesize vision into execution priorities and deliver on concurrent initiatives.
  • Highly collaborative and communicative collaborator with experience working in fast-paced, multi-functional team environments.
  • Experience managing change and in developing and maintaining excellent relations with executives, customers, operations, and staff at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision, with proven analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • High energy level; comfortable performing multi-faceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities.
  • Approaches challenges with a sense of urgency, ability to work well under pressure and take direction.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$175,100.00 - $334,750.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
