DESCRIPTION

The Marketing Specialist - Senior plays a critical role in implementing marketing strategies for an identified product line or geography. This role combines strategic market analysis with cross-functional collaboration to drive business development opportunities and the successful launch of new products. The specialist supports business goals by identifying market trends, aligning stakeholders, and executing marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Market Research & Business Development :
  • Conduct market research and identify business development opportunities for the DBU.
  • Evaluate new business ideas and pilot launches using structured feedback and market potential analyses.
  • Product Launch & Management :
  • Manage the end-to-end launch of new products, ensuring a comprehensive evaluation of markets, products, channels, suppliers, and financials.
  • Oversee "infant care" of launched initiatives, working with customers, zonal BD POCs, and sales teams to demonstrate success.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration & Planning :
  • Collaborate with the zonal sales team and dealerships to drive the Annual Operating Plan for business development initiatives.
  • Partner with marcom, channel, pricing, finance, and cross-functional teams to evolve product strategies from concept to execution.
  • Customer & Supplier Relationships :
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to meet timelines.
  • Gather market intelligence for precise segmentation, targeting, and positioning (STP).
  • Marketing Communication & Continuous Improvement :
  • Develop and execute marketing communication plans aligned with global brand strategies.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives as a marketing representative.

Experience :

  • Intermediate level of relevant work experience is required.
  • Proficiency in the four P's of marketing (Product, Price, Promotion, and Placement) is essential.
