A role you will love

The EMEA Payroll Manager will be responsible for the leadership of the EMEA Payroll Function, servicing around 5000 employees in up to 9 countries. This role will ensure the accurate day-to-day delivery of the EMEA payrolls, support the implementation of payroll strategy, and support the management of payroll policy across the business.

A large focus will be on ensuring adherence with our global standards across the EMEA payroll teams, supporting projects (including M&A) and supporting with the management of relationships with our payroll providers. This role will ensure a consistent approach to payroll that delivers to Computershare's current and future organisational needs.

Key Responsibilities

As the EMEA Payroll Manager you would be accountable for the adherence to payroll policies and procedures for our EMEA payrolls, as well as the accuracy of EMEA payroll calendars, processing schedules and the timely and accurate delivery of pay to employees.

Other Key responsibilities:

  • Accountable for the adherence to the control framework; and regular review to identify further control opportunities.
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities across Payroll and support with People Services initiatives that impact Payroll.
  • Oversee resource allocation across the team's ensuring day to day delivery of payroll services.
  • Manage, develop and motivate the payroll teams.
  • Collaborate with colleagues (Tax, Finance, Reward) to ensure effective processes and ways of working.
  • Maintain service standards, SLAs and KPIs for all aspects of payroll services.
  • Provide payroll reporting for key stakeholders.
  • Act as the subject matter expert on payroll administration, driving continuous service improvement and efficiencies.

What will you bring to the role?

The EMEA Payroll Manager will be an expert in operating multiple payrolls for a multi-national, complex organisation. Required skills include:

  • Experience in vendor management of third-party payroll providers, working across multiple jurisdictions. ADP experience would be beneficial.
  • A detailed understanding of operating payroll within at least 2 of our EMEA jurisdictions as well as the UK . (Key EMEA jurisdictions are Ireland, Jersey, Spain, South Africa, Germany, Switzerland, Poland, Norway)
  • Able to accommodate global working hours on a need's basis.
  • Experience in line-management and performance management of a team across different locations
  • Significant relevant technical payroll experience.
  • Experience working in a matrix structure with fantastic stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient user of Excel.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Fusion (Highly desirable).
  • Highly detail oriented, and ability to work in a change environment.
