This role involves mechanical assembly, sheet metal work, fabrication, and finishing of products made from aluminium and steel, which are subsequently welded and tested before final quality inspections. This is a valuable opportunity for skilled Fitters to enhance their expertise in a highly regulated environment. Comprehensive training and support will be provided.Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and assembly guidelines to complete tasks accurately.
- Assemble and test products at various stages of production.
- Collaborate with the production team to meet project goals and deadlines.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives such as ACE activities (5S, TPM, Turnbacks, and Clinics).
- Maintain traceability of materials and adhere to quality control standards.
- Pursue ongoing internal and external training, including welding certification requirements.
- Ensure the workspace remains clean, organized, and compliant with company standards.
- Adhere to all Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) requirements.

- NVQ, City & Guilds, or a similar vocational qualification in fabrication, mechanical, or engineering (relevant experience will also be considered).
- Demonstrated experience in hand fabrication and sheet metal work.
- Proven ability to work to high tolerance standards.
- Familiarity with precision tools such as Vernier callipers, digital calliper's, or measuring gauges.
- Experience in aerospace, motorsport, or similar industries is advantageous but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
