HybridThe Avionics proposal intern will develop and refine tailorable content for the Avionics Proposal Green Content Library while learning Pursuit to Order Capture fundamentals including key capture and proposal management tasks. Avionics Strategic Capture staff lead cross-functional teams through competitive assessment, strategy development and execution, proposal development, and post-proposal submission activities in the federal and international defense and commercial sectors. We work to influence outcomes and increase win rates, supporting Collins and customer success.What You Will Do:

  • Supporting Avionics Proposal Green Content Library development by:
    • Interviewing SMEs, writing, formatting, and editing persuasive proposal content
    • Facilitating content development, review, and approval workflows
  • Shadowing with proposal managers as they review customer solicitations, develop proposal schedules, outlines, compliance matrices, and templates, coach authors and coordinate proposal reviews
  • Edit and format proposal content to ensure it is clear, cohesive, compliant, and persuasive
What You Will Learn:

  • How to collaborate effectively with matrixed teams
  • Gain additional knowledge on proposal management and Pursuit to Order Capture fundamentals
  • Learn how to develop persuasive, customer-focused content

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Demonstrated writing and editing skills (ability to apply AP Style and brand standards preferred)
  • Desktop publishing skills preferred
  • Proficiency with MS Office and SharePoint applications
  • Graphics design skills preferred

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
