Responsibilities

  • Responsible for performing routine clerical duties in accordance with standard administrative office procedures.
  • Responsible for loading and unloading freight accurately, inventory control, rotation and inspection and other warehouse related duties.
  • Assist the Supervisor and Manager in maintaining the operations of the warehouse facility and automated outbound operation .
  • Assist in maintaining proper function of certain machines using advanced problem-solving skills, including simple data manipulation, and troubleshooting powered conveyors for simple malfunctions.
  • Provide direction to warehouse employees while performing individual warehouse responsibilities in a specific function.
  • Coordinate and schedule the movements of products throughout the warehouse.
  • Determine daily tasks, workloads, and coordinate staffing accordingly in conjunction with Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Identify system or process issues and communicate those to Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Maintain quality standards for warehouse storage and service including communication to internal and external customers.
  • Assist with managing warehouse inventory.
  • Assist Supervisors in inbound/receiving and outbound/shipping process.
  • Data entry
  • Filing and other administrative duties.
  • Handle routine correspondence, including mail and faxes.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Some college preferred and bilingual is a plus.
  • AS400 or SAP work experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to coach co-workers.
  • Basic computer and database application skills.
  • Excellent phone etiquette.
  • Knowledge of multi-line phone systems.
  • Accurate data entry.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while walking, kneeling, climbing and repetitively lifting up to but not limited to 50 lbs.
