About the role
Responsible for performing sophisticated support functions, research and financial analysis of multifamily properties, loans and portfolios for Portfolio Managers within the asset and risk management of multifamily agency loans. Maybe assigned to more sophisticated projects and departmental support.
What you'll do
- May act as a 'go-to' contact for departmental support. May coordinate and assign day-to-day process and work flow for analysts.
- Responsible for supervising a portfolio of moderate to sophisticated loans; performs quarterly financial statement analysis and review of 3rd party inspections. May present recommendations on observations to management.
- Supervises major loan events such as interest-only expiration, hedge expirations, loan maturity; analyzes potential impacts on performance.
- Provides customer service support to assigned loan producers and clients. Works with loan servicing company to meet client needs and requests. May work on and be assigned customer service issues, requests, etc.
- Responsible for process and organization management of financial statement analysis, property inspections, immediate repairs and other reports for the asset management group.
- Responsible for handling and preparing monthly and quarterly reports for portfolio(s).
- Participates in training employees relative to operating statement analysis, valuations, reporting, inspections, lender consent items, etc. and other related duties/responsibilities.
- Performs Fannie and Freddie mandated inspections of assigned properties.
- No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. Provides informal assistance such as technical mentorship, and/or training to coworkers. May coordinate and delegate tasks to co-workers within a work unit and/or project.

- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from 4-year college or university required with a minimum of 4 years of related experience and/or training.. Master's degree preferred.
- Inspection Certification preferred. Will be required to obtain and meet Fannie/Freddie certification requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers.
- Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and/or commissions. Conducts basic financial analysis.
- Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite Products including: Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
- Some travel maybe required.
