The Problems You'll Solve

As an Automation Engineering Intern, you will have the opportunity to learn and help the team design, implement, and maintain automated test systems to ensure software quality and reliability.

Your tasks can include developing and executing automated test scripts, identifying and reporting defects, and collaborating with development teams to enhance testing processes and tools.

Additionally, you will gain a deep understanding of quality control best practices and agile methodologies, preparing you to contribute effectively to the continuous improvement of software products.

You will have the chance to work closely with developers, in order to analyze test results, and participate in team meetings to discuss progress and strategies for software quality and test automation. You will also stay updated on industry trends and best practices in automation testing and software quality!

Below are some examples of areas where you'll be able to learn and contribute:

  • Development of Automated Test Scripts: Create and maintain scripts to automate the verification of software functionality and performance.
  • Execution of Automated Tests: Run automated tests and interpret the results to identify failures and inconsistencies.
  • Analysis of Test Results: Review and analyse test results to provide detailed feedback on software quality.
  • Identification and Reporting of Defects: Detect issues in the software, document, and report defects found during test execution.
  • Collaboration with the Development Team: Work with developers and other stakeholders to understand requirements, discuss issues, and propose improvements.
  • Support in Improving Testing Processes: Participate in reviewing and enhancing testing processes and automation tools.
  • Maintenance of Test Tools and Environments: Assist in configuring and maintaining test environments and automation tools.
  • Documentation of Tests and Results: Prepare and maintain documentation related to automated tests, including test plans, scripts, and reports.
  • Participation in Team Meetings: Attend regular meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and strategies related to software quality and test automation.
  • Keeping Up with Trends and Best Practices: Stay updated on trends and best practices in test automation and software quality.

The Team You'll Work With

You'll be part of the Quality Assurance team that has a mission to prevent defects through testing and automation, ensuring the highest software quality standards across the platform.

About You

You are currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution and are actively learning and developing your technical skills. You are committed to software quality, are passionate about programming and are quick to learn and adapt to new languages and technologies.

Additionally, the team is looking for candidates who demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills, are helpful and excited by the idea of supporting people, processes, and initiatives across the organization, and have strong communication skills.

PLEASE NOTE: The position is hybrid and we are currently working from the Rio office 3 days a week, and 2 days at home. Please also submit your resume in English.
