  1. Cloud Proficiency:

    • Utilize GCP services including BigQuery, Cloud Run, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, and Workflows.
    • Understand cloud-native architectures to design effective solutions.

  • Work with data integration tools such as Cloud Composer (Apache Airflow) and Dataflow.
  • Programming and Infrastructure Management:

    • Proficient in programming languages like Python and SQL, as well as Terraform, CI/CD processes, and Git flows.
  • Data Modeling and ETL Processes:

    • Design robust data models and develop efficient ETL processes, ensuring data quality and consistency.
  • Monitoring and Optimization:

    • Monitor data pipelines and GCP resources using Stackdriver (Google Cloud Operations Suite), optimizing for performance and cost.
  • Problem-Solving/Debugging Skills:

    • Strong troubleshooting skills to quickly resolve production issues, including log reviews and collaboration with networking, security, IAM, and DBAs.
  • Communication Skills:

    • Collaborate effectively with global teams, documenting practices clearly and conveying technical details to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Automation:

    • Automate routine data processing tasks using scripts and GCP tools to enhance efficiency and reliability.


  • Required Qualifications:

    • 8+ years of experience in data architecture and engineering.
    • Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform services.
    • Proficient in data integration and transformation tools.
    • Excellent problem-solving and debugging capabilities.
