This role is in our Customer Communications Division, which offers a full range of multi-channel communications solutions, such as integrated print, mail and digital solutions for transactional, marketing and compliance communications.

In this role you will help ensure we meet all client service level agreements with the most cost-efficient manner. You will assist with monitoring the production floor to improve throughput and labor cost. You will work as an Insert Planner within our Production Control Center and work with other departments to manage resources to help ensure efficiency is maximized while maintaining high quality standards.We are made up of high performing teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed. This role is an on-site role, which means you'll be coming into the South Windsor location, (6am-6pm) Alternating Wednesdays, Thursday, Friday, Saturday.
Responsibilities:
- You'll help to coordinate insert production in order to maximize print efficiencies and set priorities.
- You'll follow up on tracking within the Insert department to ensure SLAs are met.
- You will be responsible for grouping like jobs (by fold type, outside OSE, inserts) to make it more efficient for insert.
- You will ensure all jobs in InFact are prioritized and completed in the proper order.
- You'll assist in tracking DODs and increase communication between departments to ensure "must mail" deadlines are met.
- You will communicate with and support the coordinators/supervisors and managers throughout the operations team.
- You may be asked to operate production equipment during peak times.
- Proficient English language skills. Strong oral and written communication skills and adeptness with communicating effectively with staff and management at multiple levels.
- Proven organizational skills including expertise with multi-tasking, handling multiple priorities at a time and working under tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated skill working in a diverse team environment with various personality types to get the work done.
- Attention to detail and the skill to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, stoop and kneel, and lift to waist up to 20 pounds.
- Flexibility with scheduling and ability to work overtime as required (including weekends and holidays) and the ability to consistently work the late weeknight shift.
- Min 3 to 5 years' experience in a production environment with an understanding of the print and insert floor and capacity in order to maximize print efficiencies and set priorities.
- Associates degree preferred or related production experience.
