Position Summary:

Responsible for support of the Endevor, AMI DevX Code Pipeline ISPW, CJDAP, JCLCHECK, NXPromote, Topaz Connect, Topaz Workbench, IDz tools, and their associated processes. Lead resolution processes for complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors. Communicates across differing audiences including technical, managerial and vendors. The ideal person should bring their positive attitude and plan to work with an agile group of individuals who support multiple disciplines within the mainframe.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in Information Technology
  • Experience with: z/OS and Horizon platforms, z/OS USS, z/OS Connect, Jenkins, Ansible, IDZ and/or Eclipse based software
  • Developer background
  • Mid-level knowledge of IBM Utilities i.e. IEBCOPY, IEBGENER, etc
  • Basic knowledge and/or experience with Mainframe z/OS, JCL, TSO, ISPF
  • Knowledge of programming languages: REXX, DB2, COBOL, Python, Java, JavaScript, SQL
  • Ability to learn, adapt, and innovate on your own, with strong knowledge of Agile Development practices
  • Ability to participate in a 24x7 On call rotation and be required to provide off hours support as necessary
  • Good communication skills, both written and oral are required as the individual must interface with application developers, support teams, software vendors and management staff
  • Ability to work closely with clients to resolve issues

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with: GIT, Bitbucket, z/os USS, z/OS Connect, Gradle, Groovy, Maven, Jenkins, Ansible, XLR, IDZ and/or Eclipse based software development process
  • Knowledge of programming languages and facilities YAML, Python, Java, XML and COBOL
