Description

We're looking for an experienced accessibility expert to join Apple's People Accessibility team. You'll be partnering across the entire company to influence and support delivery of a universally accessible workplace - including buildings, facilities and tools. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cross-functional partners to deliver accessible environments and tools to our workforce. The right candidate will have strong accessibility knowledge, partnership and influencing skills, and personify Apple's values. The role would particularly suit someone with a technical background and a wealth of knowledge on how to implement accessibility in apps or websites, who is a strong collaborator with a passion for accessibility, able to influence and deliver complex multi-faceted projects. - Evaluating tools used within organizations for accessibility - Acting as a connection point between technical and business groups - Identifying global opportunities to iteratively improve the employee experience - Partnering on accessibility standards for software and facilities - Working with procurement and third-party vendors to ensure accessibility of products in use by our employees - Identifying scalable support options for team members and systemizing these for maximum impact
  • A strong knowledge of accessibility technologies and standards
  • Insights and empathy for the impacts of disabilities in the workplace
  • Passion for accessibility and enabling our team members to do their lives' best work
  • Experience in software accessibility testing

Preferred Qualifications

  • An innovative approach to problem solving
  • Great team player, able to partner and influence effectively cross-functionally
  • Able to see around corners, and solve for issues before they become problems
  • Experience in considering projects from a global perspective, and identifying cultural significance
  • Process-driven, always looking for ways to automate and scale effectively
  • Technical accessibility implementation experience beneficial

Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $133,900 and $201,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

    Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You'll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses - including tuition.
