Who we are looking for

The Global Markets (GM) Product Manager - Assistant Vice President (AVP) executes a portfolio of strategic and tactical initiatives for State Street Global Markets. The portfolio encompasses broad aspects of the business:

  • Strategy development and implementation
  • New product, geographic and product expansion
  • Trading systems and operational model design and implementation
  • Governance approvals
  • Risk oversight

The GM Product Manager - AVP works with other Product Managers, Technology, Operations, Business Risk, Legal and other business partners to execute initiatives and deliver product and infrastructure aligned with our strategic priorities.

Due to the role requirements this job needs to be performed primarily in the office.

What you will be responsible for

The GM Product Manager- AVP will be responsible for executing a subset of a complex portfolio and will be expected to drive execution in their assigned initiatives.

  • Translate business strategic vision into functional product plans.
  • Define product features and develop product overviews, workflows and visual artifacts to crystalize product use, and process owners.
  • Work with technology to drive technology solutions and deliverables to meet Business requirements.
  • Assess and design the end-to-end support model for go-live with respective stakeholders (Operations, Product Control, Business Risk, etc.).
  • Document technology and other business partner demand; escalate competing priorities and constraints.
  • Build strong relationships with our GM team and business partners (i.e. Legal, Compliance, Operations, IT, Finance, Procurement etc.) and ensure they understand business needs.
  • Resolve issues or roadblocks working with our GM Teams and Business Partners.
  • Effectively, communicate, collaborate and build positive relationships.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • 7+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • Demonstrated analysis, issue resolution and leadership skills.

Salary Range:
$80,000 - $132,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
