As anApplications Engineering Consultant with Siemens EDA's Systems DefenseIndustrial Base AE Team, you will support consultative sales efforts at theworld's leading aerospace and defense companies. Your primary responsibility isto secure technical design wins for Siemens EDA's product and service offeringsin the area or Enterprise Data Management (EDM). Specifically, you will beresponsible for driving sales and adoption of our core PCB authoring,multi-board system design, and Data Management solutions.
Yourterritory coverage will consist of Accounts located in the United States, witha focus on Aerospace and Defense accounts.
You willbe responsible for collaborating with peers located all over the world andcommunicating essential status updates to a variety of stakeholders, bothinternal and external.

- Participate in the development of account sales strategiesleading to market share gains for Siemens EDA.
JobQualifications:
Thesuccessful candidate:
- Exhibits PCB design competency with a minimum of 5 years PCB design experience
- Is familiar with usage and administration of ECAD data management solutions
- Exhibits a passion to learn and perform at the cutting edge of systems design technology
- Has the desire to broaden exposure to the business aspects of technical sales
- Enjoys contributing to the success of a great team
- Possesses strong public speaking skills and the ability to steer dialog in a crowded room
- Can deliver, influence, and execute go-to-market strategies
- Possesses a demonstrated ability to build strong rapport and credibility with customer organizations while maintaining an internal network of contacts
- Has experience scripting/programming in VBScript and/or Python
Moderatetravel is required (approximately 25%).
Thisposition will be subject to U.S. export control requirements under theInternational Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export AdministrationRegulations (EAR). Employment is contingent on either verifying the U.S.Person status or obtaining any necessary export license.

The totalcash compensation range for this position is $135,700 to $271,400 with 20% of thisbeing comprised of an annual incentive target. The actual compensation offeredis based on the successful candidate's work location as well as additionalfactors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevanteducation/training.
