We are seeking a highly skilled and diligent Sr Workday Payroll Administrator (Payroll/Absence/Time Tracking) to join our HRIS team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in configuring and maintaining Workday to ensure accurate and efficient payroll processing and administration. This position requires expertise in Workday HMC, Payroll, Absence and Time Tracking (PATT) and an understanding of payroll processes and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Configure and maintain Workday to align with organizational policies, compliance requirements, and standard processes
- Collaborate with integration teams to design, test, and implement interfaces between Workday and other systems, ensuring seamless data flow and accuracy.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process optimization through Workday automation, gathering business requirements and proposing enhancements.
- Stay updated on payroll compliance requirements and ensure Workday configurations adhere to relevant laws and regulations.
- Comprehension of cross-functional touchpoints in Workday between payroll and other modules.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of all Workday Payroll, Absence and Time Tracking configurations, changes, and processes.
- Lead, run, and support the gradual adoption and deployment of additional Workday features and modules, including PATT.
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to determine accurate payroll information and resolve any discrepancies
- Maintain adherence to federal, state, and local payroll regulations and tax laws
- Provide exceptional customer service to employees regarding payroll inquiries
- Support HR initiatives and projects as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field/equivalent experience
- Demonstrated ability in payroll administration
- Experience in Workday Payroll
- Familiarity with payroll regulations and tax laws in multiple states
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team environment
