Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with focus on Finance/Accounting and/or holds a CFA designation
  • 10+ years of experience managing large-scale programs and effective change management
  • 5+ years managing geographically dispersed people/teams
  • Experienced in leading both Agile and Waterfall delivery projects
  • Proficient experience with Project Management tools including but not limited to: Atlassian Jira, and Smartsheet as well as MS Office Suite (Project, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and presentation skills; track record of developing and delivering high- impact presentations; effective public speaking, and obtaining consensus amongst different teams
  • Astute business judgment, analytic, creative, and problem-solving skill, with experience applying these skills to acquire and develop strategic partnerships
  • Strategically minded, analytical change agent and decision maker with a clear vision and the ability to implement improvement measures impacting a variety of internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and data-driven mindset that translates into leadership skills
  • Moderate technical skills and background in software architecture

Preferred:

  • Experience in working with Investment professionals and supporting corporate roles (e.g. IT)
  • Track record of delivering large complex multi-system business and technology programs related to risk management
  • Knowledge of investment risk including asset modeling with securities and derivatives; financial accounting, interaction with corporate IT including AWS cloud and on-prem platforms; vendor negotiation and management; business operational processing; and adhering to general corporate standards and guidelines
  • 10+ years of experience with delivering user interface and database systems with a focus on end-to-end solution delivery

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all activities associated with the program to ensure the program achieves its goals on time and within budget
  • Lead creation of the program management plan and provide program communications as appropriate
  • Identify, resolve, and mitigate problems and delays in the program
  • Manage program budget related to resources and expenses including confirming appropriate contracts and invoices are negotiated, reviewed, and approved; resource actuals match to forecast; and overall ensure expended funds are within approved budget
  • Manage program risks, issues, and coordinate corrective measures
  • Document the program per corporate guidelines as part of the Project Management Office
  • Report on program performance to executive team and organization leaders
  • Identifies required human resources to successfully executive to plan and submits to PMO Lead and business owner; provides resource cost estimates; and develops team members
  • Interviews candidates and onboards/offboards as appropriate
  • Maintains change requests (change to existing requirements, budget, and timeline) for approval by Steering committee
  • Collates decision that require business line discussion and decision and escalates to PMO lead for discussion at Steering committees
  • Leads regular cross workstream update sessions to ensure alignment on deliverables and dependencies remain in sync
  • Identify and drive key stakeholder involvement and work with them to elicit scope
  • Secure and maintain project resources from a business and technical scope
  • Manages relationship with vendors and ensures vendor performance and engagement are available to meet program needs
