Overview

The Bank of New York Mellon seeks a Senior Specialist, Full-Stack Developer in Pittsburgh, PA, to consult with internal business groups to provide appropriate application software development services or technical support REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, and seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience must include: Writing SQL queries in RDBMS systems including Oracle, MS SQL, Sybase, Cassandra, and Vertica; Writing Java code, C# code, Lotus Notes code to build a robust API services for financial systems and applications; Utilizing frontend technologies including angular, angular js, javascript, HTML, css, prototype.js, and jquery to build a rich web UI; Utilizing Kubernetes cloud services to handle any deployments for financial applications; Utilizing AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Splunk logs, Kibana logs for troubleshooting financial systems and applications; Utilizing OOPS concepts and design patterns to produce quality code; Utilizing Unix scripting, Python scripting, Rexx script languages to support rapid quick developments; Utilizing VBA macros for automation purposes for financial systems and applications; and utilizing MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and Visio tools to create flow and sequence diagrams, present designs and create pivot charts and tables for financial systems and applications.Qualified applicants please apply online at https://bnymellon.eightfold.ai/careers and utilize reference code #40082.
