Position Summary
We are currently looking for experienced Senior Software Engineer to be hired for Krakow Engineering Center to contribute to Simulation and Tools team located worldwide. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of the latest technological advances that will transform mobility toward the future. We are looking for someone with a hands-on attitude, great passion for programming and experienced in software architecture.
Your Role
- Design, develop, test and deploy the code of new simulation components (software and model in the loop)
- Coordinate design and architecture of software components
- Integrate and validate all software components in the simulation and re-simulation.
- Integrate ADAS software algorithms provided by other teams
- Participates in full life cycle of the product
- Develop and apply built scripts and operate continuously as new software versions are delivered into the project
- Prepare test cases and define KPIs
- Implement test cases and scenarios in the simulator environment
- Run the test cases and prepare reports
- Drive innovations in the team, introduce modern and efficient solutions
- Work with passionate people, develop new features and solve problems
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science, Telecom, Robotics, Automotive, Electrical Engineering or comparable
- Excellent understanding and hands-on experience of C++ (preferably C++17)
- 5+ experience as software developer
- Practical knowledge of Python programming
- Good experience with Windows and Linux environment, bash scripting
- Ability to work in a team and technically lead a team of professionals
- Ability to travel to support customer
- Experience in professional software development
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English
- Passion for programming, high commitment and motivation
Nice to have :
- Experience with Cloud Base solutions, virtualization, and containers
- Knowledge of Git, Gerrit, Gitlab, Jenkins
- Knowledge of some scripting languages (e.g. TCL, Perl) and Linux
- Automotive technologies
- Simulation experience
- Software-In-The-Loop
- Being familiar with software development processes (like SPICE, Agile) and software engineering tools
