Business Development Representative - High End

The HE BDR has accountability for ensuring sales goals are met by strategically growing volume and distribution throughout their territory. This role is hyper focused on building Stella Artois, Michelob Ultra Pure Gold, and our National Craft Portfolio (Goose Island, Elysian, Kona). This position requires significant time visiting on-premise and off-premise retailers, as well as building meaningful relationships with the local wholesaler team. Day to day visits involve selling our portfolio using sales intelligence tools, brand education/sampling, relationship building, and brand planning to help our portfolio come to life around key moments of the year.

  • Responsible for delivering volume and distribution growth of our High-End brands within the assigned territory. (70/30 On/Off Premise).
  • Responsible for delivering monthly sales KPI's.
  • Visit assigned retail accounts to pitch new products, drive sales volume, increase distribution of products, and monitor price and shelf space management.
  • Build relationships with retailers and local wholesaler team(s): sales reps, merchandiser, team leads, sign-shop, etc.
  • Leverage Sales Intelligence, Commercial Resources, and Industry Knowledge to drive High End priorities at retail.
  • Responsible for building/presenting sales performance reviews to A-B and wholesaler leaders.
  • Responsible for hosting events and samplings at retailers to increase brand awareness and rate of sale.
  • Responsible for organizing and tracking KPI's, Account Visits, Vehicle Miles, Territory Expenses.
  • Willingness to work some nights, weekends, holidays.


Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Business, or related field
  • Certified Cicerone or Certified Beer Server licensing preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience in Distribution, Outside Sales, Food/Beverage, or related industry
  • High Energy, Self-Motivated, Professional Business Acumen, Strong Communicator, Organization and Planning Skills, Analytical Skill Set (Sales Intelligence, Excel, PowerPoint),
  • Willingness to Work Flexible, non-traditional hours
