The primary role of a Sr. Digital Experience Account Director is to help Enterprise's in the long-term redesign of their business that puts people at the center using technology. This position will be pivotal in evangelizing the advantage that businesses can establish using the EUC portfolio of solutions to deliver an employee experience that allows companies to recruit & retain talent and increase the engagement and productivity of their workforce.

Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?

  • You have completed the EUC sales & Go-to-Market coverage plan for achieving or over achieving a revenue quota target
  • You maintain the executive customer and partner relations for the EUC business in the region
  • You are working closely with the broader EUC management team in the region to ensure collaboration with other Business Units and to execute on the overall VMware strategy
  • You lead the transformation of the EUC business from an on premise licenses to a subscription based cloud model

The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?

  • Meet with Customers / Prospects and be the industry expert for account teams to leverage to create new connections in accounts with new departments (HR, Marketing, Sales, Facilities, Corp Comms, etc) and titles focusing on the Employee Experience.
  • Partner with product marketing and others to validate the projected value for our customers focusing on the Employee Experience.
  • Aid account teams with understanding of Customer for Life, Value Realizer methods and tools to drive predictable outcomes
  • Build and present training to help internal teams better understand the Employee Experience
  • Attend conferences and meet individuals and companies associated with HR/operations, determine what is valuable and to whom, what are new meaningful trends in Employee Experience initiatives within the enterprise. Understand both direct competitive threats as well as substitution threats.
  • Internal Events / Meetings - QBRs, EUC leadership meetings, discussions, attend/present at company events
  • Help identify, develop and train partners and participate in EBCs as required. Guide account teams on best way to help customer jointly define "art of the possible" regarding Employee Experience
  • Accountable for achieving bookings targets for End User Computing (Workspace ONE and Horizon) portfolio of products and services within Americas region.
  • Partner with functional leaders in: Finance, Sales Operations, Legal Sales Operations, Global Support Services, Renewals, Pre-Sales Systems Engineering, Professional Services and Human Resources.
  • Collaborate and build positive relationships with Core Field and Partners to ensure most effective sales coverage and efficient engagement with customers. EX Specialist will collaborate with EX team, EUC and Core teams to roll up a quarterly forecast with monthly updates to provide visibility to the sales pipeline status as well as upside or downside risks to achieving target bookings.

  • Remote: The role is considered flexible from a home office with occasional requirements to attend local offices and events.
