The Role: Senior SAP Time Management Consultant

The Global PY department is responsible for:

  • Technical maintenance of outsourced SAP HR solutions of our clients, module SAP TM;
  • Modification of the solution after delivery to correct possible faults, to improve performance or other attributes and to adapt the product to a modified environment;
  • Stabilize, optimize, and extend the applications so that functionality continues to meet the clients' changing needs.

The SAP TM Consultant is a member of the Global PY department. His role is to provide appropriate application maintenance consultancy to Alight outsourced clients through advice, guidance, technical support and problem solving.

Key Responsibilities:

Integrated into the Global PY department and under the supervision of a Team Manager, as an AMO TM Consultant you will be involved in the support of our outsourced clients as follows:

  • Provide application support consultancy through advice, guidance, and appropriate technical activities;
  • Manage tickets after having received functional analysis and guidance / coaching on the technical way to implement it;
  • Generate easy-to-maintain bug free code and customizing respecting Alight best practices;
  • Operate required system tests using either provided or self-generated test data, to ensure the applications/developments meet the agreed specifications;
  • Provide documentation (both technical and functional) on issues handled;
  • Manage personal daily priorities and assigned tickets, and ensure that his deadlines are met;
  • Regularly report on status and progress to the AMO Team Manager;
  • Maintain internal and external contact and communication channels at appropriate level. Communicate status, resolution, and root cause of assigned issues;
  • Understand the general flows in HR and the SAP HR architecture.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Strong interest in delivering high quality support in the field of Human Resources;
  • Ability to multi-task, to work in a constantly changing, fast-paced environment, and to consistently achieve quality standards;
  • Service-oriented with a strong client focus and sense of accountability;
  • Be committed to the customer, the team and the project;
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
  • Understand the architecture of a SAP HR solution and good knowledge of SAP HR Time Management module;
  • Ability to translate functional description in technical solution;
  • Experience in application maintenance is an asset.

You have:

  • 7 or 8 years of experience in SAP HR Time Management modules
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English
